Tony Ongarello marks strongly over John Hoiles (23) and Rod Vernon (9). Herb Henderson completes the picture. Tony kicked 5 that day and the Roys had a big win - 110 - 54.

Brunswick St Oval. Round 5, 1958 Attendance 21,500.

Ongarello was the last of League players to opt for the place kick due to being a terrible kick for goal. By contrast he was a magnificent high mark. Later became a very polished TV football personality.
