    Yes. It’s very real.

He won three finals in his first two seasons. Only two since.

Three finals wins in his first 48 games. In more than 200 since then, only two finals wins.

      Re: 2023 AFL Finals Series

Good lord. With a month to go we were in the conversation for top four then promptly embarrassed ourselves against the 3rd last, and dead last teams to tumble out of finals altogether.

There's a reason we're cleaning house and it's hopefully not that we're satisfied we're not actually that far off it.

Anyone watching the teams and styles currently slicing through this finals series can see we're a mile off it and hopeful tinkering with the best intentions ain't gonna cut it. We need a new recipe, not a rehashed one.

One of many posts by unhappy Port fans on BF:

GWS have a better coach, better structure, better Captain, better ruck, better defence, better attack, better midfield, & better club song.

If we try and play like the last four are playing this year next year, we'll not be successful.

We need to rejuvenate our strengths and counter what's happening today, and get working on it immediately. Nobody will be playing a run and gun style like we're seeing now next year.

Sorry, some might, but the premiers won't be.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Loving what the Giants are bringing. I'm on the bandwagon. Doesn't help when your kids favourite non-Bulldogs player is Toby Greene.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Have you threaten them with an orphanage.

The plastics moniker was fully deserved in their first few years, but the uncomfortable truth is that they are acting and behaving more like a real club than ours at the moment. They are the most "anyone anywhere anytime" club going around - zero excuses for anything and totally focused only on what they can control.

What an amazing impact Kingsley has had in less than 12 months. I would not begrudge them a premiership this year at all, especially if it means they knock the entitled and pre-ordained filth out next week.

I actually think it was that prelim loss and their rivalry with us which 'made' then a footy club.

I still can't be happy for them while Greene is there, but he is the black mark on what is otherwise a fairly impressive organisation. (Especially when compared to gold coast)

Could you get a more softer club than PA. Their results in finals include a few smashings.
A huge amount of front running players who would be unbeatable if football was a non contact sport.
Just use the word pressure in a game and they run away faster than Phar Lap, it’s extraordinary their lack of hardness . Even Powell-Pepper ( who I rate as pretty hard ) disappeared last night.

I do feel sorry for Hinkely. His team just cannot go deep in the finals.
2018 was the year they should have won it , but choked against the WC
They going to have some pain when Dixon retires. Maybe in 50 games Sweet may take his place, you never know ....

In recent times we’ve been pretty poor in pressure games. I’d dare to call us soft at present. Without Libba and Bont busting their guts out we’d be a bottom 4 side. We lost to Port twice this year in close games. Both sides might have mental demons in high pressure games.
                                Josie :)

                                Our day will come
                                And we'll have everything.
                                We'll share the joy
                                Just like '54 again.
