Ben Long is a decent player. IIRC we were going to draft him based upon his Footscray form. Played for bimbers then saints then GC-have I got that right?

If he is the same Long he kicked 7 in a VFL final against the pies and I think we won by over 100 points. And we were going to draft him but I think saints or bombers took him first.

Are Geelong on the way to finally becoming crap like the rest of us or is this just a blip?

They've had an extremely soft draw so far which gave them a great start to the year... but with a few out they were always going to struggle given their midfield is pedestrian to say the least.
