          Sorry beat me to it

Port are average. Some outstanding players but need a change in direction. Carlton playing well

Agree port look like a side that will always be around the mark but never take the next step.

I'm liking the Blues. They've got a good side and dont really rely on any one player.

Blues 7 goals 1 from stoppage in last qtr.

              Insane.

I wonder if that Bulldogs supporting Butters kid would be keen on a sea change?

Blues are balanced across the ground. Definitely right in the mix.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I have said it a lot and will continue to say it.

Alir Alir and Esava Ratugolea are not the answer, never have been and never will be.

I am genuinely bamboozled why the media and public rate Alir Alir so much?

Yep. If you're going to trade in players to develop the backline, do it with May and Lever and not with Allir, Ratugolea and Zerk-Thatcher. Shit talls are still shit.

Their boom or bust midfield in Q4 last night reminded me of a certain highly rated midfield in a relatively important game in 2021 who conceded 16.4.100 in 38 minutes of total mayhem.

If they can get all their troops back and stay healthy, they will be in the mix. They can obviously score from stoppage/clearance but they can also get you on turnover.

Port are soft as butter always have been and if Mitchell didn’t go all defensive for a whole qtr a few weeks ago they would have lost that too.
It’s in Ports DNA to lose under pressure, I’m interested in Cornes answer to Hinkley now, I heard him questioning the game plan . Well that comes down to one bloke.

Ken Hinkley has coached more games in the 100+ year history of VFL/AFL football without a Grand Final appearance.
