McPherson as a back pocket would be worth a punt IMV, looked decent in the role before Dimma got up there

It's going to be difficult to bring in anymore than one or two experienced players from other clubs at the end of the season so I doubt McPherson would be considered although we've done okay with Bramble.

Rookie? He’s 26 and shown form in a defensive role….and we aren’t exactly blessed with quick small defenders coming through.

Unless we cut Ryp, there’s no spot to add a rookie.

Is he quick though? I never got that impression. Just an honest battler like Ewan (who was unlucky not to get a look in, along with Sullivan, ahead of McComb)

They have to cut down their list size. They recevied concessions a few years back that allowed them an increased rookie list that now has to be reduced back down to standard size.

Jack Martin, David Cunningham and Caleb Marchbank all delisted by Carlton today. All 3 can clearly play but they are made of crepe paper unfortunately.

Jack Martin is a big one. Everyone raved about him in his draft year and obviously what a big coup it was for Carlton to get him.
