For mine the more depressing takeaway is that they can grab a bloke with selection #63 who's about to line up in the prelim for them.

It says a lot about the development system in place at the Cattery. Reckon if Shaun Mannagh had been drafted by most clubs he would have ended up a bust.

Geelong just have made it a habit of turning coal into diamonds.

For a prelim, that game had some real 4:40 on a Sunday arvo in Round 14 kind of energy.

Very much so. It just felt like a run of the mill home and away season match. Nothing special.

They consistently bring it even if the personnel is not the all time best.

That is down to the coaching from Chris Scott like him or not is a great coach.

The injury has hurt them. If he cannot continue it will really mess with their structure.
