It is good marketing but how they have put Jobe on a pedestal is funny. I heard them say he has great disposal??? To be B&F I would have thought they had a crap year yet they made finals. I see them sliding.Comment

I payed out on all the Essendon supporters when they were carrying on about the captaincy selection. No one buys into the hype more than idiot Essendon supporters.

Didn't see a great deal, just Jobe walking out onto the oval...Without seeing it, I reckon a "son of" captain being appointed is fairly special. I wish him luck - seems like an OK fella.

IIRC Harvey and Alan Stevens are still the only F/S combo to captain a league club. Harvey was Footscray captain in the late '50s and Alan was our skipper in the late '20s.
Harvey is Daniel Talia's grandfather.They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment
