Grants got it next week, who else is there thats really a stand out for it?
Swift, Robinson, Rockliff, Gysberts (only played 1 game, but it was very good) and perhaps one or 2 others would come into contention if they play well this week.

I forgot about Gysberts if he can play as well as he did last week he will be very close.
I think Grant should get it soon though because he has been very good in a few games and has been consistent since he came in.
It will be interesting to see where they are at in a few years time. I remember there was a bit of consternation when Bailey was given a contract extension, but I think he's a pretty good coach, and they obviously haven't squandered their high/bonus draft picks. They have the makings of a decent team IMO.

Their defence looks ok with Frawley, Warnock, Garland and Grimes all good prospects.
Midfield looks very good.
Forwardline - much will depend on Watts. He really has to develop into a very good player as besides Jurrah they don't seem to have a lot of developing forwards in their ranks.

Petterd had a good year before he did his shoulder, Wonaemirri (probably got two letters correct in the spelling of his name...) showed that he had talent before getting injured.
I agree that it is their 'weakest' point, but it's still pretty strong. Melbourne will be the team that Victoria relies on to stop the GC/GWS stranglehold, IMO.
