Anyone want to take a stab who might win the Rising Star award? Martin got suspended otherwise he would of be a certain.

I personally think it's out of Hannebery, Scully and Reid.

The award tends to favour first year players, but I think Hannebery has been a standout.

I'd go with Hannebery as well.

I like Hannebery too, but I've been quite impressed whenever I've seen Ryan Bastinac play. Tom Rockliff & Ben Reid have also played quite well this season.

So, who's going to win it? The media scribes are suggesting Hannebery over Rockliff.

I have been impressed with Ryan Bastinac this season & expect him to poll well.

Just for those who aren't aware, Jarrad Grant & Dustin Martin are both ineligible & cannot poll any votes from the judges.

Scully will go close but he chops the ball a bit to much and that will go against him. Jarrod Grant I think would of snuk into the top five with the game he played on the weekend had he been eligible

Nup ... he refused to play footy at school ... he was a sensational cross country runner, and very good at soccer, but his hand-eye skills (juggling etc) were quiet poor
