KEY FREMANTLE defender Chris Tarrant has confirmed he is leaving the club in order to return to Melbourne.
One of football's worst-kept secrets was finally made public on Sunday, when Fremantle released a statement saying Tarrant was heading home.
Tarrant, who turns 30 on Saturday, signed a four-year deal with Freo in 2006, having been recruited from Collingwood in return for Paul Medhurst and draft pick No.8, which the Pies used to select Ben Reid.

30 Years old, I don't think Freo are going to get too much if the form of a trade out of this to be honest.
