I think we will win 5, just missing out.

According to my unbiased ladder predictor I have us finishing 4th. . Will 14 wins get us there?

Funny that, I have us winning 14 games too.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

          I like to dream.
I have us on 14 wins and maybe missing out on 4th to WC on percentage.
Play back for the Saints the first week of finals. Turning it around by 150pts in WA over WC the next week.
Telling Geelong they are old in the prelim. Then getting the Pies in the GF everyone predicted preseason.

People said I was dreaming when my ladder had us in 6th at the end.

I remember calculating a similar theory in 08; we would play Hawthorn in the qualifying, Saints in the prelim and Hawks again in the GF - this way, we would avoid Geelong, the Cats being the only team that could beat us, as during the season we had beaten Hawthorn and St. Kilda twice.

              Then Buddy kicked 8.

That would take us to 11-11 right? I think 10-1-11 will be enough to make the eight this season.

Melbourne get to play Port twice before seasons end? That's just not fair!
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Yes all those draws will play a part which means percentage may not matter.

We are a chance. Potential 6 wins. There are a lot of outcomes for these teams. Only the stronest will get there - unless its a farce.

Freo have the draw from hell. 11 wins will get us there, but personally won't be slashing my wrists if we don't get there.Strong chance we'd be going to Perth or that Crap hole Olympic stadium.

In all honesty I think it comes down to this week. If we can get a win over a top team like Carlton the momentum should carry us through North and Sydney and set ourselves up for a blockbuster against the Eagles before the bye.

If we drop it the seeds of doubt will creep back in.

Melbourne have a terrible record in Adelaide.Wouldn't discount the nothing to lose theory, happens often teams with nothing left to play for.
