Whatever happens today - Pies and Cats have been brilliant
Re: Whatever happens today - Pies and Cats have been brilliant
Someone should've checked the oven earlier... this meatloaf has been overcooked... by about about 30 years.
This is cringey, he can't even hold a tune.
Someone should've really checked to see that he could still sing.....

Wow, how lame is meatloaf.
This.
I couldn't give a stuff about the result today and I don't particularly admire either club for what they've done but I hope the match entertainment is better than what Meat Loaf dealt up today.
He reminds me of when I saw Dylan in Tassie 15 years ago, spaced out and old. Thank god for his band and the woman lead.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Shocking, should have put him in the Batmobile and kept driving.
Pies fans would be in their element.
It's better to die on our feet than live on our knees.

The only thing I like about Collingwood is their win-loss record. I loathe their conceit, their pompous buffoon of a president, their fans and everything about them. I hope Geelong wins, and wins comfortably. Couldn't give a stuff whether it's a good contest or not, so long as the Filth taste defeat on the big stage.
Ew! Nasty! Andrew you sound bitter have you had a bad experience?

Their countless numbers of feral, arrogant supporters, and seeing their tosser president everywhere I look. The glorification of their crime-loving team members.
One of my good mates at work is a diehard Pie fan, and epitomises everything bad about them. After they won last year, he was talking about a three-peat! Each time something good happened to them, he's in your face about it, and the same for when things go awry for us or our players. I am going to love going back to work Monday week, and getting stuck right into him.
Can't stand anything about them, and thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon's result, watching them suffer in defeat. Bitter? No!

If Collingwood didnt exist he could well have been, has a soft spot for us.

Has provided sponsors for our club as well.
I see him as a pseudo-blue collar bloke. Sure, he comes from Broady, but to me it's all bluff. I think if Collingwood didn't exist, Eddie couldn't. Sure, he did do some promo for us - one positive I guess. Still a pompous buffoon though.

Give me a pompous baffoon any day if it gets us that membership, a flag, and money to burn, ala Kennet too.

I hear what you are saying about some of their fans (but not all!) but I disagree about Eddie. Love or hate him, he has taken that club to fairly great heights with respect to sponsors, members, etc., and he does has a soft spot for us. If I recall correctly, he was against us merging with an interstate club and often gave us publicity for members, etc. We will have to agree to disagree on that one!
