Mark Austin from Carlton has been granted permission to train with the Western Bulldogs ... I don't know much about him ... Can anyone fill me in ??

He's something of a KPD/third tall. Has the size statistically to be a KPD but never really played tall. Struggled to get a game with Carlton even though they weren't going that well for tall defenders. Not particularly quick, never really showed an ability to run off his man either but does use the ball reasonably well once he has it.

Supposedly had a number of injuries and lack of preseasons, I remember he broke his hand once over the offseason.

Geez someone needs a hobby. Permission to train is already on Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Austin_(footballer)
