Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Would prefer if Geelong just fell over the line. With a week of questions about their premiership bona-fides, if they lose to Collingwood they would be red hot for us and would probably be too good. If they beat Collingwood though it would lift the pressure on them a bit and we'd be a better chance, one would think.
Or they could play themselves into form win or lose tonight. I dunno.. we're long odds either way.Comment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Wow, is there a less courageous player in the AFL than Josh Hunt?
Not only does he plainly refuse to put his body on line when it's his time to go, but he has the audacity to carry on like a faux hardman when he has the chance to blind side someone. Just pathetic!Western Bulldogs: We exist to win premiershipsComment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Pendlebury was outstanding , gutsy win by the pies.
Cats, I reckon they just hung in there in the first half.
Selwood kep them in it, down to one rotation hurt The Pies.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow night, we'll be big outsiders next week.Comment

Geelong - Last Quarter - 23 inside fifties for four goals 6. Geelong blew it.You don't develop courage by being happy in your relationships every day. You develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity. ― EpicurusComment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Agree, but Collingwood looked the better side in the first half.In the end Selwood dragged them up and kept them in it in the first half. In the end Geelong could have won itComment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Definitely. Even though Collingwood got that 50 in the end to put them ahead Geelong had there chances and easily could of won."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Do you think if we bring that pressure and intensity from the last few weeks against the Cats and say if they have a few key players out would we be a chance."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

Re: Round 8 - Other Matches
Can someone please explain to me the point of a score referral system with completely inept camera positioning?
Tomahawks point/out of bounds referral in the third showed what a farce this system is. Fundamentally I like it but for god sake put the correct technology in place to support it you muppets!!!"Loves a scrap....oh yeah & he's a pretty handy footballer as well"Comment
