GWS are an absolute rabble but in saying that they have been good in games at times this year. Relived still we beat them last week.

      Tom Lee looked impressive.

They gave up a lot to get him, but it highlights you need to be prepared to do that. Hope we take note re: Boyd.

Haven't seen him get so many touches since he was driving along an LA freeway with Pamela Anderson

Pretty sure the boat scene featured Mimi McPherson. Tom and Pammy wee definitely driving on the freeway. I remember Tony Martin cracking a joke on The Late Show about Tom Lee having his own special set of airbags to protect him in case there was a crash

Tommy and Pam definitely starred on a boat, too.

It was a multi-location shoot (pardon the pun).

Mimi was in a bedroom(very grainy 90's footage), Tom and Pam on a boat.

Looking on the bright side, we are above St Kilda on the ladder for the first season in many a year.

And if the 15th team can play 3rd and not put everyone to sleep, at least some parts of the plan seem to be going right.

The only issue is those you know what's get an earlier pick than us!'

Is it that much of an issue? Is pick one really worth more than pick two? so much depends on how you develop players.

Good point. Joel Selwood (Pick 7, 2005) is the (equal) earliest pick Geelong has had since 1994, when they had a pre-draft selection of Simon Fletcher under the different father-son rules (yes, we know they got the benefit of all those later F/S as well). Since then (1995 onwards) they have had 5 picks in the top 10, all above pick 7.
