I'm from Geelong way and absolutely nothing compares to their arrogance. The majority have NFI about football either.

I really don't think anyone is ever entitled to be arrogant. Confident sure, not arrogant, particularly as supporters.

To be honest I reckon we would be a bit like that if we had the success in recent years like they had. What do you think.

Great game.

Where does Geelong pull all those good kids from out of their arse?

The Cats have fair tall forwards, not great ones. Was interesting watching them trying to just bomb it in like us, with similar results.

Yeah, we'll the have earnt the bragging rights.
Geelong are pretty much the polar opposite to what Melbourne are. They are in a rutt where all they know how to do is win. They don't have the big names of the first premiership in the run, they don't even have the same coach, but again they finished top 4. Unbelievable club.

Geelongs biggest issue is a good ruckman, they have tried a number of options but they just don't cut it at AFL level. think they are still lacking a quality big forward, as for Pods, time to retire..

Pods was woeful last night and I thought it was time for him to hang up the boots as well.
With the exception of Hale the tall forwards from both camps were ordinary last night.

How will Freo and Sydney pan out. Freo going in overwhelming favourites at home. Freo have the crowd right behind them which is a big advantage. Will be a packed house as last night not all seats were filled.

Freo for me.
Sydney have been struggling with injuries and after a hard game last week, IMO just like last night the team who have had the rest will come home stronger.

I think the intense game style of the two sides means the week off and Perth home ground advantage will be telling
