Irish AFL thingy - complete waste of time?

Anyone else thing we should forget about this foray into Ireland each year? What's the benefit? Is it a totally negative view? or are there some positives that outweigh the cost, time and exposure to potential injuries?

I don't really care for it that much to be honest.

I am probably being a little mischievous but how would it go if we sent over a whites only team.............

I do apologise if offending anyone with these comments.

Is the Marngrook footy show racist? After all, its major focus is indigenous players.

Or does a special effort sometimes need to be made to promote the achievement of people representing (in some cases) marginalised people from within the community?

As for the series, there's not a lot of things I care less about from a sporting perspective.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I usually only care if there's dogs listed players in the mix, but I think you just need to approach it open-mindedly. I find it quite entertaining, some of the mixed soccer skills involved are awesome to see, and the players from both teams give it their best shot.

                            Agree with this.

Attended one of the games at the G quite a few years ago now but nobody told the crowd it was boring or a waste of time, the atmosphere was most definitely there, the Irish lads also are extremely passionate about these series and go at 110%.

It got a tad to physical for the Irish boys to be honest.
There all part time sportsman, and just get monstered by the bigger bodied Aussie rules players
