Same here. Every year this pre-season ad campaign rolls around I just cross my fingers that no one gets injured.

Playing devils advocate if we didn't field 12 or 13 of our starting 22, they'd be some questions posed on here and the media in general.
Personally don't think it's a terribly smart move in your first game to field such an inexperienced side

I don't mind the pre season stuff. The players get a bit of match simulation especially the young guys having their first run at this level. Gives them a taste of what's required. Anytime I can see the Dogs playing is a good time.

Last night's game made a complete mockery of the concept. OK, Hawthorn are a far superior team, but it was just such a crap output from Brisbane considering it's their first hitout.

Even the commentators were bored shitless and raving about all manner of trivial nonsense just to fill in air time.

How do you think tonight's match will go between Richmond and Melbourne. Will it be closer or much like last night.

I saw a photo of Crossy in Melbourne gear on Facebook from last night with a nice little caption, subtle dig from a Dee's supporter. It just doesn't look right or sit well with me.

How much of an improvement call Melbourne make this year? Potentially they have a great forward line and could be capable of kicking winning scores.

The big area for them is through the middle. The addition of Vince and Cross give them players who understand the requirements in work rate. Trengove could be a major beneficiary of having some experience around.

Would suggest that they still have a long way to go as they have lots of players who never learned that work rate.

Thought Melbournes work rate on what I saw improved dramatically on last year.
Richmond until they learn to play both ways will make the finals but go nowhere.

Fancy someone from a club that has been an embarrassment for the competition say anything?

It was nothing sinister Remi just a dig from a friend who's a Dee's supporter. I tagged him in a picture I made of Paul Roos after he got hit by a football last week.

I hated seeing Crossy in a Dees uniform.

Crossy will win their B and f by a mile and embarrass their kids. I'm happy he went there, we had no room for him and he will get extra miles out of a fine career.

I've been watching Port vs the Bombers tonight. Hinkley really has done wonders with Port. Impressive coach
