Having watched a lot of interviews Beveridge was given, even right down to the #Discovered video on the website, I'm glad he's at the helm more than anyone else we've ever had.

Re: On the Couch - Luke Beveridge tonight.

Just read an interesting article about Dean Bailey. As he was dying in hospital, he was asked what he would miss the most about footy and he told his colleague he would miss the people. Not the wins or the competition or the strategy.

The article then cited a long term study that concluded that the biggest signifier of success is your ability to nurture and develop relationships.

It made me think of Bevo. It's clear he puts a huge emphasis on this and it's obviously resonating with our playing group. There's another good video on the official Bulldogs site where they interview him while he's out for a days surfing. He gets quite emotional when talking about his mentor, Trevor Barker.

Definitely embraces the emotional/passionate side of footy
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Excellent. Thanks. I think the coach on Coaches Box has a pretty good strike rate that weekend too.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
