He was playing with one arm last year.. His form at FB early this year was quite good, had a poor one today.

Can't agree, has been a poor fullback in the overall scheme of things.

Disappointing all round. Wouldn't have minded looking like winning at one stage throughout the game..
Had some time to settle though and we just have to re-Load and win next week, can't win them all even as bad as they were..

We weren't absolutely terrible today we could of won and just didn't take our chances. I didn't think they were great even though they led all day. A shame for your journey home Lukewarm Beveridge that we didn't win. Always next week.

Better judgement would be with a better team, our teams were dreadful when he played most of his footy down back. Roughy did a decent job down there under the circumstances.

Good to see him hold his spot. He's got to get at least one game without the green.

Huh? Harsh call considering he's played in a back half with a mid field that was unaccountable for 3 years.
I'll excuse him for last season as he played when he shouldn't have .

Disappointing result... Had them on toast in the 3rd qtr and showed a complete lack of composure going forward.. The fact that we gave up 3 goals from their 1st 3 F'50 entries made it hurt even more.

Always felt that if we could hit the front we wouldn't be headed, but sadly it wasn't the case.

Very poor in defence & attack this week... But we get a chance to atone next week.

It was very difficult watching this game today. I find it easier to watch a game when, from the off, we are beaten by a much better team and go down by 6- 8 goals than to sit through nearly two hours of dross, having the carrot dangling in front of our noses, then having the opposition snatch it away, often with the aid of our mistakes (dropped marks, fumbles, poor decisions, hand balls slightly off, poorly directed kicks/hit outs, missed set shots etc). To still be in with a chance with five minutes to go and then to cruel the chances we had was frustrating. It would have been an injustice had we won but I doubt any one here would reject the four points!

The losses of Roberts Hamling Stevens and McLean has shown up our lack of depth .
We were beaten out of the centre where Caddy Guthrie Duncan and Kelly were all good players. The forward line drastically needs revamping. We struggled to get on even terms with Geelong for most of the match whose greater experience was the difference in the end. Campbell did very well for three quarters and it was a big surprise to see him subbed out as there were others who could have gone before him. Roughead was disappointing going back in to defence as was Crameri when you should have expected more from him. Wallis without much support battled manfully in the midfield.
Daniel again showed what a good player he is going to be. Our past for victories against teams behind us on the ladder just may have inflated our abilities even allowing for the fact that we can be satisfied with the improvement shown this year.

The trip to Cairns took a lot out of us...we had quite a few players down today. Forget 6 Friday night games Gordo, just make sure we request a bye after our game in FNQ next season.

We can look at it as a frustrating few weeks despite 4 wins in a row and we need to keep getting better or we can say it was one of those frustrating days and coming of 4 wins in a row and having 9 wins this year before today is a great achievement for our side which many predicted would finish bottom 4.

Is it just me or has the umpires stopped playing holding the ball again? It's a big reason why there is significant congestion in the game.

We only lost by 8 points but it felt worse than that. Even though it was Geelong's home ground, they are pretty average this year. A good team would have won comfortably on the the display they put up, that is what worries me.
