Bankers and Anchors - Round 23

This is the round 23 edition of the Weekly Bankers and Anchors Thread. Once the game against Brisbane Lions is concluded post your nominations for:

The Bankers = 3 guys that you we banked on to do the right thing during the game
The Anchors = 3 guys that weighed us down by their errors or poor play

Please limit it to no more than three of each, but feel free to make honourable/dishonourable mentions. As usual try to make it constructive criticism.

Try and restrict it to individual players rather than aspects of the overall match.

The thread is named in honour of a popular WOOF Contributor, The Banker, who passed away on 22/04/2012 after a six month battle with cancer.

        Bankers

Scoring efficiency - 19 goals from 54 inside 50's is good going. Our forward line looks dangerous
Bonts good all day, our best by a mile
Caleb Daniel is a great sub

        Anchors

Bruise free footy - frustrating to watch even though we all know why
Ruck - we look like 12 year old's playing basketball against Dad
Injuries - hope Crameri & Dickson come up for next week
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

          B:

No injuries of serious concern hopefully
Bonts. Single handedly kept us in it all day
          Finals.

          A:

          Who cares.
          We are playing.
          A home final this week.

Yep Bonts was very good. Stringer good too. How many did Hunter, Wallis and Dahl get today?

                Bankers:
Bont - Best by a mile
Stringer - For being easily our most creative forward
Wood- For the marking if nothing else

                Anchors:
Zaine - Just looked lost. He has plenty of potential but that was terrible
Wallis - Worst game this year. Disposal was awful
Crameri's knee / leg- screw you. We need that man next week...badly

                  Bankers:

Bonti- was huge. Did everything he could to lead us back into the game.
Stringer- special player. Wasn't going real hard, and still looked the most dangerous player out there.
                  Wood- marking was great.

                  Anchors:

Roughead- acting skipper and really lowered his colours. Completely trounced and made matters worst by giving away untidy frees.
Wally & Hunter- found some footy but kicking/impact was well down.
Webb- kid might be cooked for this year. Looks a player, but needed to be showing a lot more to get a finals berth.

                    Bankers
The form of a few Bont, Macrae, Wallis
                    The first quarter.
Better that performance today than next week.

                    Anchors

                    Losing. Hate it.
Going into a final on the back of a loss.
Listless performance in last causing loss.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
