    Marmo:

4 - R Muprhy - was incredibly important as a cool head down back in the first quarter and then moved forward where he was back to his creative, dodging, weaving best kicking four goals and having a hand in many more. Was our best when the game was there to be won.

3 - D Cross - lead the possession count and then kicked 3 goals in the last quarter, I put him behind Murphy because he kicked his goals and won a large portion of his touches when the game was already ours.

2 - M Boyd - was everywhere and used it and handled it well. I was most confident when the ball was in his hands.

1 - J Hill - this guy is such an exciting prospect, 17 touches, 3 goals and didn't waste one touch. The coolness of his head is not indicative of his age. Like Matty Boyd, I was very confident when the ball was in his hands, which I shouldn't be - he's 19!

    James:

    2 - J Hill ^

1 - R Griffen - showed strength with his 21 touches even if his pace doesn't look quite there, may have been because he played a lot of the game in the middle. Addision played probably the best game I've seen him play, beautiful tackle on McLean, superb, but just didn't create the same opportunities with the ball as Griff did.

      4. West - Thought he was back to his best today, worked hard, used the ball well and worked really hard. A lot of others could've done it, but my initial thoughts are West was slightly ahead through his work ethic and terrific ball use and decision making today.

      3. Cross - Unlucky not to get the 4 votes, tireless worker again, seemed a bit more confident to move the ball by foot although occasionally fiddled a bit too much. Finished well in front of goal at the end to cap off a great all-round performance.

      2. Murphy - So composed, held some amazing marks and really used the ball pretty damn well besides perhaps one centred ball to no-one in the last qtr. Good to see him kicking a lot of goals too.

      1. Gilbee - Just thought every time he touched the ball something good came of it. Long, penetrating kicks, goals and really worked hard to make himself an option forward side of the ground, which I like to see more of.

Unluckies to a whole heap of players.

      2. Hill - Continued on from his fantastic work last week, kicking 3 goals (one he made look much more difficult than it was) but essentially another terrific game with his speed, gut running marking and ball use all highlights.

      1. Griffen - Carried the ball, broke tackles and used it pretty well. His defensive efforts were also very good. Pleasing return to the game the last few weeks and looks set for a big year.

Sorry to Addison - really deserved votes today his second half was outstanding and hopefully he's starting to turn the corner from honest trier to decent player.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Very hard, for good reasons this week.

        Marmo:

4 - Gilbee - Thought his use of the ball was exceptional. Helped set up the win when the game was in the balance.

3 - Cross - Much better this week. Worked hard both ways and moved the ball on with more urgency.

2 - Murphy - Twinkle back in his toe's. Showed his class.

1 - West - Very good game. Worked hard and used the ball well.

        James:

2 - Griffen - Really good, strong and composed.

1 - Addison - Best game for the club. Endeavour was great with his spoils and tackles.

Sorry Josh, liked your game too....

4- Danny Cross (best game I've seen him play since 2006)

3- Robert Murphy (very polished performance)

2- Matthew Boyd (worked super-hard all day both ways)

1- Lindsay Gilbee (showed his class and effectiveness by foot)

Apologies to Westy (gave us first option from the 2nd quarter onwards) and Hahn but I can't fit em all in

2 Ryan Griffen (took them on at times, looked strong and kicked effectively and direct)

1 Josh Hill (looked dangerous at times and marked strongly in challenging conditions)
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
