    Western Bulldogs - Inspirational Goals

    Watching this video (Thanks to Als Videos), I thought to myself, we haven't seen many better inspirational goals than this one over the years. Can you remember any games where a goal was kicked and it inspired the whole team like Woods captain goal at a vital stage of the game.

      Steven Kolynuik. Collingwood. Graeme Wright. MCG. 1990. Magnificent.


      Granty's against Essendon in super-flood wasn't too shabby either

          How good was Dickson's workrate to run ahead of the ball to get Stringer's release?

                          Stringer's 45 metre snap against Gold Coast last year. His work leading up to the goal was excellent. It put us within reach and the whole team seemed to lift after it.







                          We won. Johnno's 5th in his 300th against the Crows wasn't bade either.
                          But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

                              Gee Bonti got dudded that year. Goal of the year and rising star awards. Both should have been his.

                                      Monty in the 2006 Elimination final v Collingwood after being knocked out by Brodie Holland at the opening bounce. Picked himself up to kick the first goal of the game less than 5 minutes later (the first of 4 goals for the day).

                                      The goal itself was nothing amazing but it doesn't get much more inspirational than that.

                                                  Steve McPherson against Hawthorn in the wet at Whitten oval in 1985 to sew up a finals spot. It must have gone 50 metres with a sodden ball right on the siren.
                                                  They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
