Yeah, I got mine from the bulldogs shop. That '85 final v North is a beauty. For anyone not old enough to have seen the best of the Hawk, Choco Royal or Simon Beasley - you want to see this game. Beasley kicks 7, including his 100th, Choco has about 30 touches and 5 goals, and the Hawk is best on ground. Dougie says that it is the best game he has played.

The team also includes Brad Hardie (who wins the brownlow a couple of weeks later), Andrew Purser, Magic McLean, Rick Kennedy, Steve Wallis and a young Peter Foster amongst others.

How good is Hawkins pass to Edmond in the second quarter? Sizzles just above the ground like a heat seeking missile and hits Jock so hard in the chest it almost knocks him over. Best kick I have ever seen.

And Shorty Daniel's goal just after Beaser kicks his hundredth. Smothers it off the boot and kicks it over his shoulder from almost the wing for a goal.


Geez that was a good day at the footy.
