4. Libba - was the spark and kept us in the match with a critical 2 goals and 2 plays directly resulting in goals all inside 20 mins of play.
3. Bont - Super 3rd quarter
2. Picken - made it hard for their inside mids all match
1. Hunter - consistently found space and was creative

Apologies to Boyd who I thought played the sweeping HB role to perfection

Apologies to many. There were so many 1 percenters in this congested whirlpool of a contest. Boyd and Morris were epic. Cool or desperate according to the situation. Four quarter efforts. Picken is SO committed - heart and soul player and Tom - gilt-edged grunt with class.

Hunter - constant source of drive
Bontempelli - his third quarter was hugely influential.

4 - Picken (played four quarters, stood up in the tackle so many times, laid some great tackles)
3 - Bontempelli (love how he's stays in the play, a few crucial strings of 2-3 possessions)
2 - Liberatore (big third quarter was key in getting us in a winning position)
1 - Wood (we miss this guy so much when he's not in the team, massive last quarter again in a close game)

4. Bont - His last 6-8 weeks have been phenomenal. Does it all.
3. Hunter - Made a few mistakes but great workrate, was our leading contested possessions winner and really penetrated at times.
2. Picken - Man his ferocity is a pleasure to watch
1. Roughead - Best game of the year for mine. Match leader with 4 big contested marks and key goal.
