I wore one of Josh Hill's old warm up tops that I bought from the Bulldogs shop a few years ago in acknowledgement of the effort he was was going to not have to make if we were going to win tonight.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

      1. The group is made of the right stuff. Each iteration digs up the will and effort like few others I have seen manage when needed.

      2. I am much more relaxed and calm than I should be, I think it is because I have genuine belief that a flag can wag and am not just desperately pretending that is the case.

      3. Greg Denham is a #$%wit and I am glad we belted his mob after his "new Richmond" cheap shot on radio today.

        1. All year (especially of late) our game style has been criticised in the media - don't score enough blah blah, but I was convinced that Bevo had taught us a game style that was suited to finals football - and tonight he was proven right!!!

        2. Caleb Daniel don't need no stinking Rising Star award to prove how good he is.

        3. We can win big finals outside of Victoria!!!!!!!!

          1. If we weren't already a destination club for players looking to further their career elsewhere we surely are now.
          2. There's a whole lot more at stake for the loser of Friday night's final. Bring it on Dogs.
          3. Adam Simpson is far classier than Brad Scott. Thanks for acknowledging our boys brilliant performance.

            1. Being manic in terms of pressure around the ball helps you get the only open space on the ground. It's great when we bring mania to the contest, as we get to use it well outside of the contest

            2. Tom Boyd has fight, and belly fire. He could very well be the next Baryshnikov

            3. West Coke are softer than the poo sandwich I thought they were

                1. I think the men's dept ( backline) deserves more credit, as does Joel Corey as the backs coach
                2. Intensity around the ball was first rate
                3. Masterclass coaching display in keeping west coasts interceptors out of the contest

                  1. Not sleeping after a huge finals win is a lot more fun than not sleeping after a heartbreaking finals loss
                  2. We are a fearless team with a fearless coach - our dedication to go through the corridor was not compromised after a couple of early goals conceded from turnovers
                  3. We are capable of winning the premiership in 2016 - I've had my gut feel about this team all season, despite the difficulty in scoring, but tonight has reaffirmed my belief that nothing is out of reach for them right here and now. Make no mistake, this flag is anyone's.

                    1. I need to believe.

                    2. This isn't the same old Bulldogs.

                    3. Bont and Stringer can both be off and we can still win a big game.

The Zaine Cordy selection was genius. Zaine himself had little direct influence on the game but he was able to negate any influence that McGovern or Barrass had through his general positioning play. Mind you our patience and delivery into the forward line was also top shelf.

                          1. Rising Star runner-ups aren't half bad really
                          2. We can monster teams on the ground and on the scoreboard, which was really refreshing after feeling like we only won by 2.5 points most of the time this season
                          3. How weird does it feel on a Friday morning that your football is already over for the week??
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

                            1. The boys are better than we think they are, and right now we think they are pretty good.
                            2. Their self belief can take us all the way.
                            3. Lin Jong's tears were not those of someone looking to leave.

                              1. I still cannot believe our incredible performance. Unbelievable.

                              2. This group is seriously SPECIAL.

                              3. I'll never forget this night.

                                1. I don't need to be nervous when we are 40 points up in the last qtr (but I still am)

                                2. Our resilience is superb. We could have folded meekly after frittering away our early dominance and then seeing West Coast slot two. But that's not the 15-16 breed

                                3. The appointment of Beveridge as coach is going to be seen as the most significant turning point of our club ever. How strange that the Griff&n catastrophe led to a domino effect that has brought us to this point.
