What a great game , we came back hard in the second quarter and smashed them in the third. Picken just tough as nails and so good one on one. love Clays tackling and pressure and his mark in third quarter was awesome. Roughead had a good game and was cheated a few terrible centre bounce decisions. Caleb so clean in the stoppages. Bonts is a superstar and if Josh Dunkley can improve is kicking we have a another superstar, youngest player on the ground and he just seemed to find the ball in the first half . So many positives with such a young team

Well, that was my first finals win in the stands. The hawk supporters in my vicinity hoping it's my last.

Said it to my mates tonight, but I hope that loss leaves a 30 year scar in their memory.

I am so proud of this group of young men.

After Breust missed that goal in the second I breathed a sigh of relief and hoped we would make them pay.

When we figured out our set up and first and second ball crowding ratios we just took it over and dominated.

Amazing effort.

And Jack Macrae is a star.

What a great night I had at the G. Im still coming to terms with our victory like many of us are. Brillnat display. Nervy start and they kicked away but we destroyed it in the premiership quarter. Roghhy, Picken, Dunkley, Mclean, Clay, M Boyd, T Boyd, Bont, Macrae, JJ all did really well. The way we were hitting up players and running was just a great sight.

While we need to get a better deal at our home ground Etihad and with the Ballarat thing taking off next year it is not out of the question if we get 50K members to play a bit more at the G.
