I can't say I've seen a better player for the Dogs than the Bont.. If he improves at all over the next 5 years, which I'm sure he will, they might have time build another statue.... He just picked us up and said come with me, and he's 20.. Wow!!

I've always said that Chris Grant was the best that I've seen, and also my favourite ever bulldog.....

It's going to be emotional, but the great man and I are going to have to have a hard chat.

Hawthorn have only conceded 9 unanswered goals on one other occasion in the last decade, and it was us in 2009. We put 14 past them that night

I made the hard decision that the Bont had gone past Kelvin Templeton as the best player I have seen for us about midway through the season. It wasn't easy-that KT was the greatest was an Article of Faith with me for nearly 40 years. Kelvin was awesome and won games for us with sheer force but didn't have the mongrel that the Bont has already shown. That mongrel will mean Bont will win flags for us.

Plus the Bont could be a really good centre half forward if he played there exclusively, perhaps even the best in the comp. I don't know that KT could have been the best midfielder in the comp.

Great moment. Loved that he gave the handball early in that play - then got inside 50 to receive another handball. The audacious off-balance finish...only Stringer could do it.
