I was beginning to think Campbell might be used as trade bait but this is excellent news. We now need to find another ruckman to support he and Roughead

He played a cracking game yesterday, signing a contract must agree with him.

He's a player we couldn't afford to lose and one who would've blossomed elsewhere to our detriment.
Glad he's signed on and hoping he can get some continuity with his football, he was playing some important roles prior to his injury and can get dangerous in the forward half.
I think for the time being, he will be depth to the Roughy & Boyd combo. But injuries and form factors will mean that he will get opportunities at different stages over the next two years. I suspect his new contract doesn't break the bank, but 2 years of development and he could be really hitting his peak when he next comes out of contract as a 26 year old.

In two year Cloke will be off the list and hopefully we can play a Roughy/Campbell combo as rucks resting forward with Boyd a permanent forward.
We may even have a Collins/Cordy/Adams combo holding the back end together.
Imagine that - a Bulldogs team that is ok for talls in all three parts of the ground!
