                      Can't agree with this thread. Griffin, Tutt, Jones, yes, but we have Coons the boot, and encouraged Higgo to leave. Yes we are better, but it may not have panned bout that way.

                                  Coons put forward he was open to be traded - wasn't happy. Higgins wanted out for a premiership. Said he needed a change.

                                  Call it Coons, call it Higgo , call it Macca. Fact is this club does not willing give up champions - never has (sometimes to its detriment). We didn't even want to give up KT until he convinced us that his knee was stuffed and the money was more important than him during a particularly sorry stage of our existence. Anyway...

                                          Coons wanted to stay - Hayley was publically livid even before the trade went through that he was being pushed out.

                                          Very different situation to Griff or Jones.
