Collingwood said they won't match the offer.

Was right under our noses as well.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Thanks, that means they lost him for no AFEL compo. Must've been a decent offer to get nothing for the draft.

Is this poor list management by the Pies? or they did not have a salary cap to keep him or offer a contract to hold/play out for a compo pick ?

I'd say that's the end of Sam Fisher .
                Brown is very slow

Restricted free agent - they didn't want to match the offer.

Pies currently dispensing with 10 players - it's a clean out.

They will have Carlisle and Brown as their KPP

Marsh, Brown and, if the rumours are correct, Frost gone from their backline

Just wondering the way the game is played now whether players like Brown are a liability .
Most defences have one big key back and hybrid mobile backs

Especially those three. Brown, Carslisle and Goddard are all very similiar types who can only match up on the slow gorilla forwards. Brown must solely be cover
