Never really thought of us that way but I think you are right. We need more of that team ethos approach similar to 2016. Maybe with our newer generation coming through they form a tight bond - not only do they have star quality but more importantly work for each other in a team sense.

That sentiment jumped out at me on the weekend. They are so so selfless as a team it really is a pleasure to watch. Whether its enough to get them to a GF and to win it is debateable, but thre is no doubting that every time Freo threatened as a team they snuffed the threat out. There was no looking across at who else may be taking the responsibility.

The thing is if you put their best 22 against our best 22 as individual players, I'd rate our guys as better individual players.
