    Round 1 Teams 2017

    Assuming all players are fit (excl, Wallis and Redpath). How does your round 1 team look?

    My take

    Western Bulldogs

    B: Morris, Roberts, Boyd
    HB: Murphy, Adams, Wood
    C: Johannisen, Liberatore, Hunter
    HF: Smith, Cloke, Picken
    F: Stringer, Boyd, Dickson
    R: Roughead, Bontempelli, Macrae
    Int: Daniel, Biggs, Crameri, Dalhaus

    EMG: Dunkley, McLean, Cordy

    That was hard!

    Footscray

    B: R.Smith, Collins, Young
    HB: Williams, Cordy, Lynch
    C: Webb, Dunkley, Suckling
    HF: Lipinski, Mullenger, Dale
    F: Hamilton, Campbell, McLean
    R: English, Jong, Honeychurch
    Int: Greene, Prudden

      That's a good looking team. The only real changes I can see happening are Roberts out for Suckling (we're usually happy to stick to one key defender) and Dunks for Smith (either one is pretty stiff to miss out TBH but they play the same role)

          4 premiership players in the magoos! (Dunks, Magic, Zaine & Suckers).

          And that's not including VFL guns like Russell, Dalgliesh, Nash & co.

          Pardon my laziness, has a team ever done the back 2 back AFL/VFL double?
          Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

              No dunkley. No cordy. No magic. No suckling. Damn. Even wallis not being eligible for selection either. Thats a hell of a lineup next season. Fit and healthy. That will be tough to beat that side on paper. Hopefully the plastics fall to pieces.

                  Jesus that's a good Footscray side! Give me the Bont and Bob Murphy and I'd coach it to wins against Brisbane, North maybe Melbourne and St Kilda.

                      Pretty sure Hawthorn/Box Hill (if that counts?!) were shooting for one in 2014, but we stopped them!
