Can we say it was rigged? A few months ago Gillon said he expected Bonts to be the face of the AFEL for years to come. Then when the poll was put up Bonts holding the premiership cup was behind the question. So Gil likes us when the AFEL can make more money. I really hope there's some sort of large bonus in the players EBA that is coming Bonts way.

I like the AFEL when we can make money out of them, which we are now. We should take this happy marriage for what it is now, and not stay together for the sake of the kids when it turns sour - which it inevitably will.

I used to think that too but I checked it out and Whitlam said it to a country party member called Sir Winton Turnbull(?)
