Very poor play. We've just let them get right back in this..
two goals down and still 3 and a half minutes.
Some very poor efforts by our defense in letting Micky get those last two marks and goals.

Brilliant game, we played awesome and we have beat a top side at their own home ground. Was getting stressed in those last couple mins almost lost it but we kept at it and brilliance won in the end.

Now the BYE is brilliant, rest up Westy and bring him back for the big clash in Perth

We were the better team on the day but they are a hard side to beat and kept coming at us. A lot of teams would have packed it in after some of the leads that we built. 7 minutes to go with a 30 point lead and it was far from a sure thing.

Some of our boys looked spent in the last 10 minutes.

They sure did, but they threw themselves into the contest and bottled it up to hang on.

What a great smother by Murphy with a minute to go. If the Swans had of kicked a goal then, it would have been 6 points in it, but the smother allowed Aker to get posession in an open forward line. Lucky Johnno marked the errant kick, although Hill was on his own but Aker decided to try kicking it himself.

Great win, Swans are so hard to beat and play the SCG so well.
