Game Day Round 6, 2017 - GWS Giants V Western Bulldogs

Patton kicks one from general admission. Boyd barely hit his own foot.
Shame because he was pretty good in the ruck and around the ground tonight - the wider public will focus on that kick, but he'll have to wear that.
Our 'long bombs to Snake' delivery into forward 50 tonight was the poorest element of our performance tonight. If we can get the front 1/3rd firing on all cylinders - delivery into F50 and of course conversion - we are in this season up to our eyeballs again.

Looks a different player
I said from the start of the year he needed to spend more time at VFL level. He didn't look good in the pre-season games, and the games he has played, he hasn't impacted as much as last season. Tonight he only had 2 tackles.

You have to be able to catch them to apply a tackle. Look very slow tonight. We would get more from Wally or Dicko if they pull up all right from today.
Don't piss off old people
The older we get the less "LIFE IN PRISON" is a deterrent...

Wally 33 disposals and 3 goals, but apparently Bevo says he may need another week in the VFL

Our goalkicking problems seem endemic.
Last week we repeatedly missed easy gets.
This week, apart from Libba's miss we seemed to be missing more due to the scrabbly nature of our shots on goal or due to having lots of set shots from lower percentage positions.
Apart from Dickson ww just don't seem to have guys who are reliable kicks from difficult positions.
Patton, Greene and Cameron kicked the harder percentage shots when it was their turn. Whereas Stringer, Boyd, Dunkley, Jong & Smith missed, and often do.

I don't know what happened to Hunter in the second half, he didn't touch the ball once??? Same as JJ who had 16 disposals at half time and only 5 after that. GWS shut him right out
