Exactly, to fair to DR. Then to WDs credit he apologised, which doesn't always happen.

I think we could all be a little more diplomatic and courteous in these hard, frustrating times. Myself included.

We lost any form we had well before I posted that. I am hardly rapt watching the garbage I saw vs the swans.

I was another in agreeance with Dry Rot. I said in another thread if we lost to swans we wouldn't make the 8. Our form before the bye was very average, being behind at half time in nearly all those games. For me, we just haven't played anywhere near the footy we played last year (finals aside). We look lost, disinterested, not working hard enough, not playing as a team, MC has been laughable at times, and game day has been just as bad. Teams have either worked us out, or our attitude after the ultimate stinks.

Honestly, I would not be surprised if we didn't win another game for the year...yep we are playing that bad.
I will never see #16 the same!!

I'm thankful we beat two of my most hated teams in North and Saints. If we were to miss finals yet pip the Giants, I'd take a little solace from that.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I don't know what it is but for some reason I just have this feeling we will beat the Crows. $4.25 under 39.5 then it's back on.

I have been known to be wrong from time to time but there is a nagging gut feel about it.

Too much time between games lately so the short back up will suit us more.

You know what the hopes I had for this season are gone. Which I'm strangely fine with like the expectations are gone so there isn't any pressure now. But this gut feel is there which really hasn't been there all season. How many games have we played this season where we thought we won't win? We aren't really expected to win anymore almost back to underdogs.

I'm on the $4.25 no probs.

The way Beveridge spoke about the Adelaide game during the West Coast game press conference tells me he's really focused on getting the win. I think we will see the best of Beveridge this week, he has got a few things wrong lately but you don't forget how to coach overnight
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Re: The Run home - shall I book my holidays for September?

I cannot see us fixing our inside 50 ball movement, our pressure levels or our skill level to a high enough point in one week to beat a premiership fancy on their home turf. This is not a drop the Freo game, get a few players back and then play out of our skins Elimination Final scenario. We have been in this slump almost all season. Losing to West Coke at home on the weekend pretty much stuck the fork in our season as far as I'm concerned.

We'll get creamed over there absolutely creamed and then we at least know where we stand. Adelaide will tear us a new one with their attacking run. The only way to stifle this is immense pressure and we've simply lost the ability to do this. If we lack pressure across the ground and play a high defence as we have done all year this will be a 10 goal blow out.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Yep, we are much too easy to score against and that's our biggest problem. We are getting too far behind on the scoreboard.

I'm so confident I'm heading over to Adelaide tonight. Go dogs!

With $3.40 odds just for win I wouldn't touch the under 39 for the little bit extra value. I done that against the saints game and got burnt by 1 point and don't forget North and Melbourne both blew Adleaide away, in Adelaide by more than 40! If anything, we have the talent to do it too and usually we score heavily against the crows.. p.s we still want pay back for the loss to them in the 2015 finals! Gluck which ever way you go ill be getting on the win as I have a funny feeling about this weeks game

                              North beat Adelaide in Hobart.

Hawks won over in Adelaide, so they are certainly beatable.
