3 Things I've learned. Round 22, 2017 vs Port Power
Re: 3 Things I've learned. Round 22, 2017 vs Port Power
1. This was a really bad premiership defence.
2. We have a top 10 draft pick to go fishing for Kelly &/or Lever.
3. We have 22 premiership heroes, but that was last year. Decisions for next year have to be about where we currently are.

Re: 3 Things I've learned. Round 22, 2017 vs Port Power
1. If we don't improve our skill level we won't be anywhere near the 8 next year
2. Dale can be a very dangerous player for us next year
3. We need a mini list rebuild; Morris, Boyd, Murphy, Dickson to go with Picken and Cloke not far behind.

1. The efforts just been to inconsistent through the year .
2. To many players down, and not enough contributors.Lack of even effort
3. Big decisions in the off season .

Best footy is well and truly behind him - his age in this case is relevant.
Played most of the year and never fired a shot even at vfl level.
Had a bad year . Should we list every player who's had a poor year? You can't discard everyone , as they are contracted .
Going to be difficult to judge players re- hangover or downward spiral .
Re: 3 Things I've learned. Round 22, 2017 vs Port Power
1. We were backfiring all season and need a tune up, not an overhaul, going into 2018. Barely fired a shot.
2. Dale, McLean, Williams and Young provide the hope that we will start to lift our overall skill level
3. Roughy is struggling to hold down the ruck position. Assuming Campbell will not get to the next level, we may need to prioritise a search for our own Jarrod Witts, Nathan Vardy type for 2018, to give Tom English enough time to develop without breaking him.

I thought Clokey was really good today. Today we saw what he can do without all the weight Collingwood had on him. He looked agile, was tackling hard and getting the ball at ground level with two very good goals, and 1cm of another third running/snap goal. I'm filthy on Ziebell because he's finally put two good games in the Bevo made role but too late to change anything.

Agree that he was good at ground level but it's not what he's there for. He hasn't taken a mark for the day and Bonti was doing the grunt work in the air as that mobile centre half forward.
He moved well and finished those few goals but Bailey Dale and Dunkley looked more likely to stick a mark in the last term.
