In all seriousness, JMAC leaves and questions need to be asked about Grant. At what point might we ask questions about Bevo too, because his handling of this situation was putrid and on face value appears to have had as bad of a 2017 as any.

But then everyone would have gone completely apeshit for doing the deal too early. Can't have it both ways, we held out for something better and it didn't arrive.

What club coach has come out before trade period and said we don't want X player? And then ask for decent compensation? Absolute balls up from all involved including Bevo.

He said that we will explore options for him, but we want something good in return.

Once we got to the table, it would have been abundantly obvious to anyone concerned that we wanted him gone. Couple that with industry knowledge of what type of person Stringer is, and how he approaches professionalism then it makes no difference. The industry is too small for it to, the media tries to act as if it isn't, but it really is.

Picks are overrated. Proven talent, and players happy to be at a club are much more valuable.

Exactly. We traded Lake early and we haven't heard the end of it. We held out for a better trade for Stringer and it didn't work out. Them's the breaks.
