The message of Christmas is peace, self-love, rest for the psyche and some joy, even connectedness, though some don't need it.
It should be a threateningly cold winter, as a European ritual.
Yet it cover all cultures as rituals do.
It is the hope of survival for another four seasons, let's get together and celebrate with food for the body and wine for the social spirit, as symbolised in the history of the Jewish race and its highly developed and proud culture.
Yet all civilistations, all communities of our sisters and brothers, have such a ritual, tribes also, such is the face of innate man.
Like the allegory of Plato's cave, we are born to interpret shadows in caves and project our primal selves through Christmas and the '25 Bulldog season.
