He's come a long way and one of the more reliable players now. A C for me.

I think he is underrated. I actually thought the Campion Data stats. had him the second best performed winger at one point last year. Never has a bad 'JUH style' game and consistently gives us something.

Rarely beaten at contest and always creates for the team.

I think he can be pretty lazy defensively, he's very very quiet on field doesn't show many leadership traits, and is seemingly a golden boy with Bevo having never been dropped (not his fault I guess).
I see his upside however I think he gets a blessed run with supporters when things are going badly and tends to go under the radar.
I will add this season he was much better but so was the team. I want to see more from him when the chips are down considering as you mention he's a senior player now.

The fact he is in a break glass position for us and Freijah over took him so quickly in his native position screams where do we use this guy?

Ask me again at the end of the year, at this stage I think a little over rated heading towards properly rated.
Do you truly believe Freijah overtook Williams as a winger?
More of an In Bruges guy?

I think Williams native position is half back.

I feel mjp's description for fairly rated is above how he is actually rated (if that makes sense). I think the description is spot on but fans don't rate him that highly, well I think he is largely ignored rather than underrated.

But the short answer is C.

I think Williams is a gun, and I'm taking him at half back over JF any day of the week but he was excellent on the wing which was a position of greater need. So JF can stay where he is and Williams can continue on the wing.

Underrated for mine, and can still get better providing he keeps his fitness up.
                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Totally under rated by Supporters. He is a consistent performer that lacks a little confidence in himself

His absolute melt down in 2021 soured me on him for a good stretch. But I think he has fought back well to get his confidence back, contribute in a more diverse role for the team and in some ways be a bit of a barometer for the team. If he is playing well, it’s a sign that the pieces of the puzzle are nice and snug.

Not sure anyone outside the club would recognise him and no couch coaches are spinning magnets to deter his influence. They should though. A bit like JJ at his peak, despite different athletic profiles, he can be a real lynch pin.

                      Very solid B.
Would love to see a bit more out of him but honestly he plays the role well, incredibly defensive minded.

                        B, about right.

Also agree, we likey slightly over-rate him due to the lack of any quality on the wing we have had, but not too much

                          Somewhere between B and C.
He is clearly our best wing and should tick over the 200 game mark which is a great effort in the midst of the clubs best era.

That's where I rate him. He's a good winger and most of our supporters would rate him but he doesn't get a lot of recognition from opposition supporters.

At times early in the season he had to get back to his defensive roots and help out our back line.
