Ive got him as a forward.

It appears his natural position but fmd where do we fit him in??

I think he will bide his time in the VFL again this season, and could debut if starts to string some form together....it's a really nice problem to have.
Im very pleased with the pre season reports. How great is the f/s rule??

      You tell me??
2 years time JUH could be gone and Darcy first ruck.

Right now he doesn't fit, but great depth.

Hold up, I've missed something. Why are people saying Jamarra might be on the way out?

It's a bit complicated and speculative but there were some reports that Ugle-Hagan traveled to Bali during that weeks break before the elimination final last without informing the club and then missed a training session. It was even mentioned by a member at the AGM.
In the training reports for that week we reported that he didn't train on the Monday before the final with the rest of the group.
There is also some speculation that he hasn't quite prepared himself as well as he could have for this season and he's currently on a very different training program than other players.
Not going with the balance of players on the community camps is an indication he's behind where he really needs to be.
It's probably not as bad as some of the speculation might indicate but distracted players are on occasions a challenge to keep at one club and I think that is where Chef's comment stems from.

Lets see where he is placed after the break but I'm confident that the club and player can work together.

Purely based off the tone of his social media, I also get a whiff of 'my brand is bigger than the Bulldogs'. I think he would love to play at the G for a 'big' club.

I was always confident that Bailey Smith would leave, and I feel the same about Marra.

What are we doing with English if Darcy is first ruck?

We have contracted for the next four years at least - Darcy, Naughton, English. That's your KPF and ruck.

Short term, he should be playing and training as a defender because that's the most likely available position in our team long term.

Back to Jordan Croft, we can pretty much play him in a few positions because of his athletic traits but does his slight frame limit him as a defender at the moment?

His kicking for goal is diabolical and he has an incredible tank, good speed for his size and is adept in the air. CHB for mine - and if we lose Marra I don't think we need to rush to replace him with a marking tall, more a hybrid like a developed Cooper Hynes

                    Never hurt Dustin Fletcher.

Yeah - that's my take as well.

I can't imagine he wants to sit in the VFL for 4 years whilst we figure it out.

I've got a funny feeling that Jones will be doing EVERYTHING he can to play well into his late 30's as well...he's a mature guy and knows what the financial landscape is like outside of the AFL bubble. Would be shocked if he is not heavily investing in himself and his own well-being to make sure he can milk an extra 3-seasons (or so)...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

                          Or perhaps Davidson.
