I feel Davidson will make an early impression.

He seems to have the right athletic attributes, but I feel his recruitment just puts Arty Jones further away from a senior game.

Arty might struggle to stay on the list.

Not if we win the flag.

I think our game style actually needs 1-2 of them, unless someone like Arty or Dolan can take the spot, to play 20+ games. They're not perfect but they're the best we've got.

I think Kennedy from Carlton will play every game and play the Macrae HF role and also time in the centre. Can't see Harmes getting many games this year, and I never understood why we picked him up as he was on the decline at Melbourne and they wouldn't play him. Matt Kennedy on the other hand played 24 games last year. Talking to a Carlton supporter yesterday and he said he was heart and soul and doesn't know why they let him go.

I agree, but that is a different role to what Mcneill and VDM play.

Sure we still have some midfield depth with Sanders, M.Kennedy, Garcia and Harmes but Brew is perhaps a bit closer to how Liberatore goes about it.
I have a feeling Dom Brew plays 12+games if his added onto our list , for the reason GVGjr stated , Brew is as close to Libba as we can get in playing style , head down , clean distribution and fierce tackling, Jaques 5+later in the year when injury and form catch up to Duryea , and finishing on a good note for the kid Sanders plays every game this year .

Hurts me to say but I think libba will play 10-15 games in his last season with us and will be phased out and replaced by a younger and stronger M.Kennedy.

He's been a legend for us but small signs of the cliff coming was seen in 2024.

Hope not, but 'time waits for no man.'

It could be a very accurate projection but based on what we have seen so far in the preseason Libba has still been performing well.
Richards, M.Kennedy, Garcia and Sanders are looking for more centre square time so could there be some role variations for Treloar and Liberatore to help achieve that?

The training reports aren't indicating that but his concussion history is a concern and a reason why this could be around the mark.
I don't know this to be a fact or not but does his performance drop back just a bit on the bigger and wider grounds?

Needs 16 games to hit 250.
