    Give me your Frankenstein

In the last week I’ve read about how good Tiller, Williams, Jong & Redpath would’ve been if their bodies were better. Which got me thinking what if you could give them the bodies of another player, who would that be and what could they achieve.

So give me a Frankenstein monster - combining two dogs players - who would’ve been a long term dead set gun in the AFEL/VFL.

    Something like:

Daniel Cross (durability, fitness, not injury prone, manic in his preparedness) - combined with - Clay Smith.

Two good knees, picked each week, crazy tough in the middle and dangerous playing/pinch hitting forward. I reckon a 25 touch, 1.5 goal a game spiritual leader that plays 250 games. Much needed in the 2021 GF third quarter.

    Yours?

Tom Williams and Rohan Smith would be a terrific merge.
One of our more athletic key position players but very injury prone in Williams with Smiths highly skilled, beautiful kick and the most durable of players.
This Frankenstein would be a fantastic defender in any era.

This was my alternate. Or Marra but with Dickson’s professionalism and goal kicking.

Naughton and Beasley would make a great forward
Imagine Naughton having the Pie Man's goal kicking accuracy

What about Tim English with Gary Dempseys marking ability and Max Gawns ability to lead by example .

Scotty Wynd for the example I reckon. Bravest ruck I’ve seen, standing in the hole against Plugger and never flinching. If he was a general, everyone would follow him to war.

I nearly went with Cooney's pace and footy ability paired with West's competitive edge and dedication.

It'd be tough to top such a player!

MaCrae was great but Ward had far more games where he just willed the Plastic's to a win. One could say Bont like.
