        Dutch don’t win many trophies. 88 Euros and that’s about it.

        Defence for mine (in any sport). Proven time and again that offence gets the points but defence wins championships. Easier to win without having to score as much yourself. Just requires dedication/buy-in from the whole team to deliver the effort required to defend.

          A good defensive team always beats a good offensive team.

          It's just that as fans we want to see great offence from our team. It's fun to watch.
          "I'll give him a hug before the first bounce and then I'll run into my pack and give them orders to rip him apart."

              Yep, it’s true. A lot of the best sides in the modern era are fortunately great at both and you don’t have to have one without the other. To me the best football I’ve seen us play has usually been when we’re a free wheeling and attacking side who also hunts and applies pressure through the whazoo.
