There are various estimates but 10K is about right.
The oval underwent resizing and resurfacing to align with Marvel Stadium's pitch dimensions, boasting a capacity of 10,000 spectators, including 914 seated in the EJ Whitten Grandstand. The Whitten Oval development is a holistic hub, seamlessly integrating community, club and administrative functions.

I looked at it. But $170 pp is a bit too much I reckon.

I’m going, and I reckon it’s going to be a sell-out. Should be a great atmosphere.
I read somewhere yesterday that it was close to a sellout already!

Any suggestions for a sit down meal before the match? Either Footscray or West Footscray as we will be catching PT.

How good is this Saturday afternoon at 2.00pm at a Suburban ground. Brings back memories.

Just to help take you down memory lane is the prediction that they’ll be a good deal of rain too… only thing missing is it being <10 degrees and a howling breeze.

Two massive football games in one week - the Superbowl and the return of senior AFL football to the legendary Western / Whitten Oval - tough to know which is bigger.

The game is being shown live on Fox Footy for those who missed out on a ticket.
