Be an interesting year this year for goals kicked. Marra with a delayed start might be down on output, Naughton with an interrupted pre-season, Bont maybe more time forward, Weightman maybe more time up field.

So question who do we think will take home the WB golden boot for 2025?

I went Darcy - I think he's going to get up into the 40s with an injury free season. Only reason I didn't select Marra is due to his interruptions. Otherwise he could easily surpass his 2024 tally.

He missed 3 games and kicked 38 last year. Injury and suspension free I reckon he tops 50.

Thinking very much the same as you Grantysghost . Darcy gets my vote and i think he will kick over 50 if he stays fit , but im not writing off Marra entirely , even with the late start im banking on him exceeding last years tally and hitting the 50 mark , two key forwards kicking 50 gives us a big chance to finish around 5th or 6th this year .

Naughton is unfortunate (in a goal kicking sense) that his mobility gives us far better value further up the field. Also, this year we need to not see Darcy, Naughts and Marra competing with Weightman in the same ariel contest.
