Bankers:
Richards for stepping up to lead the midfield, set the tone.
Bailey Dale - not sure what we'd have done without him on the night. Sets us up from deepest in defence, links up, and also kicks two tremendous goals.
Naughton - thought he was very good. Gave the team a great option, read the play well.
Anchors:
English - just not competitive enough. Also looked short of a gallop at times.
Cleary - feel for the kid getting knocked out so badly. But prior to this I thought his awareness and urgency was lacking a bit and he looked less than assured in defence. Really want him to make it - but I thought he looked a little off the pace on Saturday.
Gallagher - seems to get it half right all the time. Will do well to get the ball, make a bit of a run and then give the ball back or choose the wrong option. Has some attributes but seems to get a lot more opportunity than some of his peers in similar positions.
