I don’t have much commentary on the game, but the coverage is diabolical. Every collingwood goal gets five replays, and gary lyon somehow manages to mention daicos or sidebottom or pendlebury when commentating a bulldogs play. It’s outrageous.

Normally I wouldn't comment too much on umpiring after a game, but 14-33 and some head-scratching non-calls is horrible.

We pushed them every inch of the way with so many players out. Hit the post 3-4 times. You absolutely can't fault the effort of our guys tonight.

Bugger. That was a very spirited and hopeful performance. I can't fault any player for lack of effort or will. Some key moments where both sides missed goals too, so I discount that..and it wasn't letting Daicos go unhassled even though he ended up with 39. It's the mistakes, ultimately, and there are some guys who will really learn alot.
