I went and loved it.

The MCG is so superior to Marvel in most ways. The caveat being the weather was perfect.

I wonder if Marvel opened the roof if it would not feel as sterile?

To me the check in process was super easy. Everything was simplified so well thought out by the management.
The players in the IC bench were displayed meaning I didn't need to check the AFL app.
To get into Marvel, they open the gates 5 to 10 minutes later than advertised...every time. There is always a level of confusion and it takes ages for the smoke to clear from the place.

We don't draw enough of a crowd to play their regularly but I found it a better experience.

Did you go on Friday night and if so how did you?
1) Rate the experience when compared to games at Marvel?
2) Rate the lead up to the start of the game with the way the club presented our 100 year history?

I went and thought it was good, enjoyed the barking before the start of the game etc. I quite like Marvel though too.
